Product Description

Olympus’s OM-D E-M1 Mark II Micro 4/3 camera combines the latest in photographic technology with a lightweight but durable magnesium body. The E-M1 Mark II is equipped with a powerful 20 megapixel Micro 4/3 image sensor capable of capturing beautiful, high-resolution images up to 50MP as well as 4K and C4K video footage. When taking photos or video, 5-axis image stabilization reduces or eliminates blur caused by unsteady hands even while shooting in low light environments. To further improve image quality in low light, the E-M1 Mark II can achieve an ISO of 64 to collect as much light as possible. For action shots, the camera’s fast and precise C-AF tacking allows up to 18 frames per second of sequential shooting. To protect the delicate internal components, Olympus designed the E-MI Mark II to be splashproof, dustproof and freezeproof down to -14 degrees F so it can stand up to extreme environments. This camera is incredible portable, too. Weighing in at just over a pound, the E-M1 Mark II is a Micro 4/3s camera you can use all day without getting tired.

Outstanding Image Quality

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II offers users an ultra-sensitive 20 megapixel Live MOS sensor that’s capable of capturing 50MP images and video footage in 4K and Cinema 4K (C4K) resolution. The sensor also features an anti-reflective coating on both sides of the glass cover to reduce flare. The Live MOS sensor works in conjunction with the camera’s TruePic VIII dual quad-core image processor and dedicated autofocus circuitry to capture still images at up to 60 frames per second.

50 Megapixel High Res Mode

The E-M1 Mark II’s High Res Shot Mode creates incredibly sharp images with resolution that exceeds that of many full-frame DSLRs. It automatically captures 8 consecutive shots in one second, then composites the images into one ultra-high resolution shot. The advanced TruePic VIII Image Processor prevents image blur caused by subject movement for greater shooting flexibility. To customize your final file size, both a 50 MP Mode and a 25 MP Mode are available.

Advanced Image Stabilization

Even if you’re using a top-of-the-line camera like the E-M1 Mark II, shaky hands can ruin a great shot by causing blur in still images and an unsteady shot in video footage. This is especially true when shooting in low light environment. To reduce and even eliminate the effects of camera shake, the E-M1 Mark II utilizes a 5-axis image stabilization system that compensates for all types of camera movement to provide 5.5 shutter speed steps of compensation. This results in crisper, blur-free shots even when shooting hand held at shutter speeds up to 2 seconds.

Blazing Fast Shutter Speeds

Experience sequential shooting speeds that far surpass those of DSLR cameras. Using its advanced silent electronic shutter, the E-M1 Mark II captures 20 MP RAW image files at up to an astonishing 60 fps in S-AF Mode and 18 fps in C-AF Tracking Mode. Or, use the E-M1 Mark II’s high-speed mechanical shutter to shoot full resolution photos at a blazing 15 fps in S-AF Mode, far surpassing other cameras in its class.
