THIS WONDERFUL PIECE OF EGYPTIAN REVIVAL IS FASHIONED OF AN IVORY FELT GROUND AND IS MIRROR IMAGE WITH THE SAME PATTERN ON EACH SIDE FROM THE CENTER.
THIS PIECE IS SHOWN BY BOTH MACHINE AND HAND.
THE CENTER IS IN A PHAROAH AND THE GREAT ROYAL WIFE WITH EACH HAVING GOLD LAME ON THE HEAD WITH GOLD LAME ON THE BASE OF THE PALM FANS AS WELL AS ON THE ROUND ORBS SITTING ATOP THE CAT’S HEADS.
WARRIORS TO EACH SIDE AND SYMBOLIC FIGURES THROUGHOUT WITH THE EDGES FINISHED IN A BROWN VELVET.
CONDITION: GENERAL LIGHT SOILING SEEN TO THE IVORY GROUND AND IS EVEN AND I WOULD MAKE NO ATTEMPT TO CLEAN. THE BROWN VELVET THAT BINDS THE EDGES HAS SMALL UNSEEN LOSSES TO THE SURFACE NAP.
THE BACK REAR IS HEAVILY WATER STAINED YET NO STAINING SHOWS FROM THE EXTERIOR.
