Here we have a versatile small dish (offered by the each piece) in the shape of a flower pot from a huge estate collection of white porcelain. It may be used as an open salt, an individual sauce (or melted butter) dipping dish, or as petite servers of spices, toppings, or candies. The vast majority of the pieces from this collection were purchased at Williams Sonoma and nearly all of them are marked either Apilco or Pillivuyt. (Note that these particular pieces are Schonwald.) Many were never used, and still have their labels attached. Those that were used, were used very carefully. Many are quite rare, but all are workhorses in the kitchen. We have lots more porcelain in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.

Shipping: $6.60 for the first one; $2.00 for each additional (Street addresses to the Continental US only -- po boxes and Alaska/Hawaii, message us with your zip code for your rates)

These dishes, of which we had 6 when this listing started, are being sold by the each dish. The price shown is for one, and you may purchase as many as are currently available -- see the drop down menu at the very top, from which you will need to choose the number desired. If, for instance, the drop down menu shows a maximum number of 2, that means that 4 have already sold, and only 2 remain, so you may purchase between one and two dishes. If you are on the app, the dropdown menu is nearly impossible to see -- if you can't find it, try accessing ebay from a browser ("on a computer") where the dropdown menu is actually visible.

Vintage: from an estate collection that was gathered between the 1970s and the 2010s

Maker/Markings: marked Schonwald Germany 9383 or 9384

Approximate extreme measurements: please see photos with rulers

ConditionOur photos show the condition best and are the most important part of the description. Very clean and fresh, bright and shiny pieces, with no signs of use. No chips, cracks, crazing, silver/gray utensil marks, or stains. Perhaps a few completely colorless scratches to the glaze, the kind that can only be seen when held up at just the right angle to a bright source of light, but we didn't even see any of those. These weren't used much, if at all. As minty as used dinnerware can be.

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
