Antique Mahogany Tilt Top Table.

The wood is of exceptional quality and has fascinating veins: it appears the top has a darker shade patina in the wood on one side of the round table top piece ( please see photos does not distract from the tables beauty); the round shape top has a refined elegant beveled edge; with an original pedestal leg in solid mahogany, worked in an excellent way with the ring patterns that connect in an elegant and harmonious way, from its four curvilinear feet branch out with pleasant workmanship carved reeding on wood, the feet are designed with a wonderful scroll pattern simply beautiful. This refined breakfast/ dining table can be used many ways it adapts to any environment, whether furnished with antique or modern furniture. Very decorative, it is very practical with the tilt table, which can be positioned vertically where more space is needed. Made in England between 1850 and 1855 in Louis Philip style.  The table is in good condition considering its age and use.  The table has great skill and master craftsmanship carving beveled edge expertly done however, the old antique top of table has a darker shade on one side (see photo) as it was made along time ago wood ages with different patinas it adds to the part of the history of this tables beauty.
