This is a brand new item, 2022 release, and a genuine import from Japan. The figure was recalled by Kotobukiya (via amiami) due to complaints on the odm gear, i.e. not fitting the holes/slots where it is supposed to attach. I have to send back the figures to Japan for manufacturer repair and it came back sealed exactly as pictured here. 

After the trouble of returning and waiting back, I assume that all is well with my copy of Fortitude, and you will not have the same issue as others may have. Sent with Australia Post Standard Service. International buyers, please ask for a shipping quote prior to buying.
