Antique Distressed Oushak Rug 3 ft x 6.5 ft from This New Old House

- Diamond shaped concentric center medallions with hook and latch as well as lightning serrated contour with starburst minor medallion floral elements at each side bearing long stemmed germinating finials at either opposing end atop a predominantly open and beautifully abrashed main field. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion with floating scrolled serrated leaves encroaching the main field. Colors and shades include: Ivory, beige, rose, pink, faded raspberry red, dusty mauve and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Light reduction to either end border. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage.
