Great Collection Of 1950's,'60's & '70's R&B Recording Groups (see photos for complete playlists) :

1) CLYDE McPHATTER & THE DRIFTERS (1959) (Atlantic -8003) Clyde McPhatter left the group THE DOMINOES in 1953 to start his own group, THE DRIFTERS. This album includes many of their big hits, including: Money Honey, Such A Night, Honey Love, and White Christmas. Great LP! CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Very Good +.

2) THE ORLONS: South Street (1963) (Cameo - C-1041) This album features The Orlons hit Single "South Street", written by Dave Appell & Gal Mann. It charted at #3 on US Pop chart and #4 on US R&B chart in January 1963. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good. Cover = Very Good +. 

3) THE TYMES: So Much In Love (1963) (Parkway - P-7032) This album features The Types hit single "So Much In Love" written by GeorgeWilliams & Bill Jackson. The song topped the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and #4 on the R&B charts in August 1963. CONDITION: Vinyl = Good ++. Cover = Very Good. 

4) THE CONTOURS: Do You Love Me (now that I can dance) (1981 - Re-issue of original 1962 release) (Motown - MS-188V1) This LP features one of Motown's earliest hits, written and produced Motown records owner Barry Gordy. It reached #3 on billboard charts in June 1962 AND again #11 in 1988! CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Very Good ++.

5) BILLY LARKIN & THE DELEGATES: Ain't That a Groove! (1966) (World-Pacific - WS-21843) Great LP with 11 cuts that this group makes their own with their unique sound. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good + Cover = Very Good (cut out area on back cover near title on top - see photo) .

6) DETROIT EMERALDS: I'm In Love With You (1973) (Westbound-WB-2018) Great R&B Group from early 1970's.
CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good +. Cover = Very Good (promo cut at lower left front cover).

LP's come boxed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LP's, with filler pads and bubble wrap on both sides to protect the cover. LP's are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves. The LP is removed from the cover for shipping to prevent seam splitting unless when purchasing a sealed LP or when specified otherwise. Tracking numbers will be provided on all purchases.
