Known defect:
The device has a transparent hinged lid. Unfortunately, the hinges for the folding function are broken. These are glued. But irrelevant for the actual function. The lid only serves as protection against dust and dirt. But it currently works perfectly. But the flap would have to be treated carefully.
Salt tablets are required for operation (not included)
These are available in hardware stores in 25kg bags
I am enclosing my remaining amount of salt tablets (about 5kg).
Water softening systems
Limescale settles as stubborn crystals in pipes or Allen household appliances that come into contact with warm water. SYR LEX plus 10 S Connect
The LEX plus 10 S Connect is a DVGW-certified ion exchanger. The system is operated via a color touchpad display, with which all functions can be conveniently entered and called up. If the LEX plus 10 S Connect is connected to the Internet, the control system can also be operated using the free SYR app, which is a useful innovation that hardly any other water softener can offer; the app even reminds you when salt needs to be refilled. An inexpensive maintenance that only possibly... The necessary work can be arranged through the Syr contact.

The Lex plus 10 S Connect is controlled by an innovative microprocessor that recognizes consumption habits and then determines the regeneration times; these are usually... each night. Regeneration only takes place depending on the amount of water removed; this technology saves a lot of salt, and water extraction is always possible. The LEX plus is equipped with a device that automatically disinfects the system during each regeneration and thus prevents germ contamination. An integrated backflow preventer in accordance with the applicable DVGW standard protects the public water network.
Installation is made easy with the included connection fitting. The desired level of softening is easy to set and, if necessary, the device can be bypassed using the bypass function without interrupting the water supply/extraction.
