This is a facsimile edition of PUNK Magazine #1, meaning that it is a faithful reprint of the original issue that was first printed in 1976.
The magazine is signed by the founding Editor-In-Chief John Holmstrom, who will personalize on request.

It includes all the the infamous content in it's original size and "quarterfold" format:

1. The Lou Reed comic strip interview, which combines photos, drawings and hand-lettering as Lou explains "Metal Machine Music" and teases about future projects.

2. The "Death To Disco-Shit" editorial

3. The Ramones centerfold poster with images of the band taken at CBGB in November, 1975.
The story was written by Mary Harron (film director, "American Psycho," "Who Shot Andy Warhol," "Charlie Says."

4. The cover illustration by John Holmstrom (shown above) which pictures Lou in an EC Comic Book style. (Lou says in the interview that he was a fan of MAD and EC Comics.)

5. A film appreciation: Marlon Brando: The Original Punk" written by Joe Koch

6. The first appearance of Legs McNeil, in a photo/comic strip. He also writes an interview with Sluggo, a newspaper cartoon characters in the 20th century.

7. The "Do-It-Yourself Protest Song" by Robert Romagnoli, which lampoons the folkie/hippie attitude that was still ruining modern culture in the early 1970s.

8. An early "JOE" comic strip by John Holmstrom, as discussed in his SubStack newsletter.

Only a few thousand copies of this special edition were printed.
