Kodak

from 1970-71

These advertising pages are by the Eastman Kodak Company, of Rochester NY.

I believe these were 3-D models or puppets. They pre-date computer generated modeling.

1st ad (1970) has a color photo of a 3-D model showing a man and woman on a very small island. There is a palm tree and a U.S. Mail box. The man is taking a photo with a Kodak Instamatic camera. There is a smaller photo of the Kodak Prepaid Film Mailer (PK 20). Ad text starts “Kodak processing is as near as your mailbox” and goes on about the processing Kodak can do.

2nd ad (1971) has a color photo of a 3-D model showing a red Devil handing film to a photo dealer. Ad text starts “Anyone can get Kodak developing. Just ask for it.”

3rd and 4th ads (1971) are similar to #2. One shows the photo dealer with a Mermaid, the other a Space Alien.

These ads are full page, each approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from actual 1970 or 1971 magazines.

If you are buying more than 1 ad (or multiple ad lot), please don't pay until you have finished shopping. eBay should combine sales automatically.
