This advertisement page is by the Ralston Purina Company, for their dog food.

The ad has a large B&W photo of a dog running down the stairs. Mom is in the kitchen with Junior, who is pouring out a box of Dog Chow into a food bowl. I’m no expert but I believe the dog is some kind of Pointer.

Ad text is: “Chow Time! New dog food discovery makes dogs eager eaters. It’s new Purina Dog Chow…everything dogs need, including real meat meal. Serve dry or moist”.

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1958 magazine.
