This is a very nice small creamer and open sugar set by James Kent Ltd, made in England. The backstamp was used in the 1940s so the set may date back to then. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs that I can see, but both pieces have some light crazing. Colors are good and gold trim is also in very good shape.

History: (from the potteries website) James Kent became a Limited company in 1913. When James died in 1953 he was succeeded as Chairman by his second son, Philip Francis Kent. The company continued as a family business until 1981 when it was purchased by Bayer (UK) Ltd. It was sold to another pottery in 1985/86 and changed hands a couple more times until finally closing in 2008.
