Hard to believe this is from 1988 as it looks brand new. This cottage is solid china (weighs 9oz), not the hollow candle covers that are more common. It is styled like a vase, with an opening in the top where the flowers are but they don't come out. I have looked it over with a magnifying glass and did not see any chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. The roses had a little dust accumulated which I rinsed out. This is a beautiful piece in beautiful condition! It measures 3" long, 2" deep and approx 2.5" tall.
