This beautiful creation is by Cuban American Fashion Designer Luis Estevez Grenelle.  (1951-1997 working years). "According to the New York Times, "Luis Estevez always did make a lady look like a vamp", known for his high slits, slinky dresses and dramatic necklines."

The hand-made dress made with raw silk is fully lined and tailored to perfection.  The halter type designed with chest cut-outs emphasizes the shoulders and slim waist. The deep cut in the back shows off the shoulders and back as well.  The zipper is the back is nicely hidden.  There is tulle under the back hem area giving a unique look.

Common in those days the store would put their label in the garment along with the designers label. Hovland-Swanson was a very upscale store in Lincoln and carried high end merchandise.

There is no size tag so please compare my approx measurements to your figure.
