This advertising page is by The Lionel Corporation, for their O scale electric trains.

The ad has a small color painting of a boy and his dad sitting around. The larger painting shows them playing with a Lionel train set. There is a Texas Special diesel set plus other great old accessories shown.

Ad text starts “One of the best ways men get to know each other” and goes on about the trains.

There is a coupon to mail in, with 25c, for a special offer. This is for a catalog, a record (78 RPM) of train whistles and sound effects, plus “Lionel’s special Pop Persuader”.

This ad is full page, 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1954 magazine.
