Artist: Konan Tanigami (1879-1928)
Born in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, 
Konan was a gifted disciple of Suzuki Matsumoto,
known for his talent in the genre of flower and bird painting.
Konan showcased a unique artistic vision and established himself as a leading figure by founding
the Osaka Graphic Designers Association. His bold incorporation of Western-style flowers revolutionized the decorative painting style of the time.
