First trade edition ( With the single pictorial endpaper repeated 4 times as called for). Coloured frontispiece and 26 illustrations in colour.  Small 8vo (5 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches), 85-pages. Original dark green boards with applied coloured illustration as issued.  Crack at 5 inner gutters (but not loose). Slight crease to lower inner margin of frontispiece where 1-inch detached.  Two tiny dents to headbands. Overall an exceptional copy, the boards and spine fresh and undamaged and internally very clean.
