The Cow Parade art exhibits are some of the largest and most successful public art events in the world. This whimsical creatures have been staged in numerous cities worldwide. It is estimated that millions of people have seen some of the famous full sized cows.

Artists, architects, designers and celebrities have created the cows. After the exhibits, which last 4-6 months, the cows are auctioned off to benefit a variety of charities. Charitable organizations have raised millions through the auction of the cows, which takes place at the conclusion of each exhibit. Some 10,000 artists have participated in the Parade, both professional and amateur, and over 5,000 cows have been created.

A limited number of small reproductions of the delightful cows from various exhibits were produced and released to the public. Once sold out, they were officially retired and no longer available.
