Selling is a 2-page advertisement for:

Standard Oil Company of New Jersey
from 1969

This 2-page advertisement is by the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey. Later they became known as ESSO, later still EXXON.

The ad has a 2-page photo of the launching of the tanker ESSO San Francisco, at Avondale, Louisiana. It is a side launch, shown as the ship hits the water. Websearching shows she went through a few name-changes, though keeping the San Francisco part, and was scrapped in 2001.

Ad text starts “Historic Splashdown” and goes on about ship.

The ad is 2 full pages, each approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from a 1969 magazine.
