The 2-page ad has info on GE's F404 turbofan jet engine. There is a small photo of the F404 engine, plus a full-page photo of a US Navy F-18A fighter.

Ad text starts “General Electric's F404 fighter engine in the F-18A...the logical choice for Canada” and goes on about the engine.

The ad dates from before Canada chose it new fighter plane. They picked the MD F/A-18, it became the CF-18 up here.

The ad is 2 full pages, each about 8” x 11” carefully removed from a 1979 Canadian aviation magazine.
