This advertising page was by the Gulf Oil Corporation.

The ad has a photo of a car being serviced by a Gulf service technician (or, as they used to be called, a mechanic). He is connecting a battery analyzer. There are lots of oil cans (Gulfpride etc), antifreeze cans, batteries, a tire and stand etc. Stuff the service station memorabilia collector would drool over.

Ad text starts “You spend weeks planning vacation fun. Spend an hour with Gulf for vacation safety” and goes on about getting your car checked.

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1967 magazine.
