This advertising page was by the Milwaukee Road. Full name being the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad.

The ad has an illustration of scared-looking German soldiers under a bomb attack. There is a small illustration of a passenger train being pulled by a Milwaukee Road electric locomotive.

Ad text starts “Compliments of Milwaukee Road White Coal” and goes on about the electric-powered locomotives leaving more coal and oil for war production. No mention of bombing civilians of course. 'White coal' meant waterfall-generated electricity.

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1943 magazine.
