These advertising pages were by the National Carbon Co. (makers of Eveready batteries), which was owned by Union Carbide & Carbon Corp.
The ads have photos of the Eveready Sunshine Lamp. It is a floor-model lamp with a carbon-arc light.
Ad text is about the lamp and its benefits. It was $137.50 and included 10 carbon rods and 2 pairs of 'special' goggles.
One of the ads is 2 pages, the others single page, each approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from actual 1928 or 1929 National Geographic magazines.
The ads have minor yellowing along the edges.
