Vikhtinsky Victor Ivanovich (1918 - 2003) Ukrainian graphic artist and painter. Born on August 15, 1918 in Kharkov. From 1934 to 1937 he studied at the Kharkov Art School. After leaving school, he entered the first year of the Kharkov Art Institute, but the war interrupted his studies. WWII participant. Viktor Vikhtinsky was able to return to his studies at the institute in 1948. His teachers in the specialty were M. Fedorov, M. Kozik, V. Mironenko. In 1950, the young artist's graduation work was a series of color etchings "The Black Sea Suite". Since 1951 - a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
