2) CALL ME MADAM (1950) (Decca - DL-79022) (Back cover is stamped: SAMPLE / NOT FOR SALE) Ethel Merman sings 12 Songs from the Broadway musical Call Me Madam with words and music by Irving Berlin. NOTE: Due to contractual restrictions Ethel could not sing on official Broadway Cast recording on a different label (RCA Victor), so she released this album on her label-Decca. She is joined by Dick Haymes, Eileen Wilson and Gordon Jenkins and his orchestra & Chorus to sing songs of other cast members. Dinah Shore Took on Ethel's part on the Original Show album. That original production cast with Ethel Merman included: Paul Lukas, Russell Nype, Galina Talva, Pat Harrington.
