Here we have a vintage c. 1960s black and white 5x7 photograph featuring what we believe (but we could be wrong) are three Wabush Lake Railway cars carrying iron ore from the Wabush Mines in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Kodak paper, #225E printed on back. Watermark appears only on the digital listing photos, not on the original being offered here. We did a google image search at the time of listing, and this photo was not found. We have about 75 similar photos from a monumental railroad estate collection, which we are listing daily. We have loads of other railroad ephemera from the same collection, listing daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.

Vintage: undated; circa 1960s

Approximate Measurements: photo measures 5" x 7"

ConditionWith exception of curved sides and wave at the center, photo is in mint condition -- very clean and fresh, super glossy and way-smooth without a single flaw to the image. Not a scratch, rub, finger print, crease, etc.

Rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure that your piece of ephemera arrives exactly as presented in our photos. We invest time and appropriate materials into shipping all of our ephemera. Most pieces are sent in envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as Priority or first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care.

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.

The Fine Print:

  • We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
  • If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
  • We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
  • Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
