Dear saxophone friends,

I have acquired a large cache of sealed, new old stock Rico brands reeds. As you can see in the photo (scroll down I think), I have a TON of reeds here. I have all the most popular sizes in stock ready to ship.

Here’s an opportunity to get beautifully seasoned vintage Rico cane, my favorite which is 1970's-80's Ricos at a deep discount, its actually below wholesale prices, and based on my personal experience, these old Rico tenor reeds are excellent players.

Rico quality was better back then, and these reeds have been seasoned like fine wine over these decades. These are very early Rico orange box. Basically, they are the fabled Rico brown box Reeds.

Its my belief that all of the Rico reed brands including Rico, Rico Royal, Hemkes, LaVoz etc. were produced from the same exact cane. All that's different is the marketing/packaging, and the slight differences in the cut from one Rico brand to another. Don't be fooled by the plain packaging of these orange boxes. I actually appreciate that there is virtually zero plastic used. I wish they would go back to that environmentally friendly packaging. Based on my personal experience with all of these Ricos and Rico Royals of all of these strengths I have available, you will find plenty of strong players in these boxes. I've been really enjoying these reeds.

All reeds are sealed in the original packaging. You will notice that the color of the vintage seasoned cane is a beautiful, aged, deep gold color. Good cane gets better with a few decades of seasoning in the boxes.
