To dispense the paste, cut one corner of the sachet and squeeze the packet close to the surface of the chip.

Basic thermal paste (White paste in orange packaging) >1.42W/m-K
Standard thermal paste (Grey paste in blue packaging) >1.93W/m-K
Old paste should be removed, and area cleaned thoroughly before applying new paste, in order to gain best performance. Although electrical conductivity is very low, excess paste should be cleaned off of PCBs.
