This is a very decorative vintage Chinese bronzed Cast Iron large tray or plaque depicting Chinese characters that is signed with a lozenge mark .

The tray has a very ornate Dragon border with raised characters in the centre,which i have been told reads "Long Live the Emperor", but this may be incorrect.

The cast iron has a coloured bronze effect on the top with a more traditional green bronzed effect to the base.I have photographed the seal mark with and without a flash so it may be easier to read.It is in very good vintage condition and measures 14" x 8 1/4".

A lovely vintage Chinese cast iron tray that would grace any collection.
