It comprises 5 solenoid valves and two threaded inlets, which are connected to the hot and cold-water lines at the back of the washer. The solenoid valves are responsible for controlling each port and can turn the flow of hot and cold water on and off as needed. They receive electrical power to operate based on the wash temperature setting and the signal sent from the water level switch.
