REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE

REDUCES: With our work we want to reduce the consumption

of plastic in our daily lives. We accumulate millions of

tons of plastic that we cannot eliminate in nature, the

oceans are full of plastics to such an extent that it

has entered the trophic chain of fish. We are destroying

our planet because of single-use non-disposable

materials, which is why at ALGON we have proposed

to reduce the use of single-use plastics and

collaborate with the environment.

REUSE: For us it is very important to reuse products and give

them a second life, which is why we use materials

that can be used on several occasions. At ALGON we

know that one of the biggest environmental

problems is the use of single-use plastics. Once used,

they cannot be removed, leaving an infinite mark on

nature, a product that has only served you once for just 5 minutes, that is why our plastic products are reusable

and are backed by a dishwasher test since 10 up to 20 washes.

RECYCLE: All our products are made with biodegradable, reusable and disposable materials that offer us the possibility of

recycling them. This way we will manage not to accumulate tons of garbage and prevent the disuse of potentially

useful materials, we reduce the use of energy and pollution in the air and water. We also managed to reduce the

emission of greenhouse gases.

BIODEGRADABLE

MATERIALS USED IN OUR PRODUCTS:

CARBOARD: BIODEGRADABLE AND DISPOSABLE: Cardboard is one of the materials with the least

environmental impact. It is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. They guarantee food safety. They

keep food in perfect condition.

Paperboard is a material that can be used in contact with food for different purposes, including baking, packaging

and storage. In contact with food or drink, these materials can transfer substances, such as metals, antioxidants,

dyes, and plasticizers, which can cause contamination. For this reason, all our products guarantee effective

compliance with Framework Regulation 1935/2004, which includes the general requirements to be met by materials

and objects intended to come into contact with food. Likewise, they are manufactured in accordance with

Regulation 2023/2006 that establishes good manufacturing practices applicable to all materials in contact with

food. Our products have been tested according to the LFGB regulations, so they do not pose a risk to human health

or alter their characteristics.

PAPER: BIODEGRADABLE AND DISPOSABLE: Made from natural materials. 100% biodegradable and

recyclable paper. Easy to decompose into sheets for correct recycling. It is breathable and keeps

food fresh and tasty.

SUGARCANE: BIODEGRADABLE: In the search for alternative materials with less environmental impact, we have

created the line of sugar cane items. This material is obtained from the waste from the production

of sugar cane. They stand out for being respectful with the environment, ecological and resistant.

They are microwave safe.

Our products have been tested according to the LFGB regulations, so they do not pose a risk to human health or

alter their characteristics.

WOOD BAMBOO: BIODEGRADABLE: Wood is the most natural material of all used for the manufacture of

packaging. 100% non-polluting, resistant and easy to handle. The renewable wood material is

eco-friendly, eco-friendly and biodegradable, meaning it can decompose naturally without

causing harm to the environment.

Wood in contact with food does not have specific legislation, however, we see the need for all our products to have

specific criteria that make it possible to determine, unequivocally, whether a wood product intended to be in contact

with food It is safe for people and the environment, as specified in Framework Regulation 1935/2004 on materials

and objects intended to come into contact with food. In the absence of specific regulatory regulations on wood, we

declare that our products comply with the specific German requirements for contact with food regulated by the

LFGB.

PLASTIC: REUSABLE: All of our products are designed to be reused; They withstand between 10 and 20

washes in a laboratory-certified dishwasher.

Plastic articles, at the community level, are regulated by Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 of the Commission, of January

14, 2011, on plastic materials and objects intended to come into contact with food, which is established as a specific

measure in accordance with Article 5 of the Framework Regulation. All plastic materials comply, in addition to their

specific regulations (Regulation 10/2011 and its amendments in Regulation 2020/1245), with the provisions of

Framework Regulation 1935/2004, which includes the general requirements to be met by materials and objects.

ALUMINIUM: DISPOSABLE AND RECYCLABLE: 100% recyclable aluminum disposable containers suitable for

food. Aluminum containers are designed to maintain the temperature of the food and isolate it

perfectly; They are ideal for take-out meals. Thanks to their resistance to high temperatures, they

allow us to bake directly in the container.

Our aluminum products are suitable for contact with food, complying with Framework Regulation 1935/2004 on

materials and objects intended to come into contact with food and in accordance with Regulation 2023/2006 that

establishes good manufacturing practices applicable to all materials in contact with food. It is shown that they do

not transfer constituents to food in quantities greater than those established by carrying out the tests according to
