An exquisite, handcrafted, one-of-a-kind serving platter by the iconic Dorothy Hafner.

The motif on this work is reminiscent of her famed Kyoto Homage series.

It measures 14.5”x 13.25” x 1” deep.

Excellent condition, no cracks or chips.

Originally purchased from the artist’s Manhattan studio at one of her annual holiday sales.

The back of the platter is hand-signed with a serial #790610-B, no quantity listed on back making it more rare.

At a certain time, Hafner began marking the quantities on the back of her limited edition designs like this, i.e. 1 of 3, 2 of 3, and so on.

Additionally this particular piece is very special, as it was created before her industrial-produced partnership with Rosenthal and it was completely hand-made, painted and signed by the artist.
