How are
they used?
The fine pigment and dilution of the A-Stand paints, primers
and varnishes allow them to be airbrushed straight from the bottle, although
A-Stand Airbrush Thinner & Cleaner A.MIG-2013 can be added to achieve
thinner and more subtle layers. Use standard air pressure, depending on what
your particular airbrush and/or your personal preferences dictate, usually
between 1 and 2 bar (14.5-29 psi). Let it dry for 1 hour before applying
additional layers of colours. These products cure completely within 24 hours,
allowing masking tape and weathering products to be used safely. While drying,
keep the model protected with a clean cover to prevent dust from sticking to
the finish. As these paints contain some toxic components, it is recommended to
use a respirator and apply them in a well-ventilated area.
