Brief Description of Patent: My invention relates to high speed vertical compound steam engines and has for one of its objects to place the high pressure and low pressure cylinders close to each other so that simple steam passages at opposite ends of the cylinders, directly conduct the steam from the exhaust of the high pressure cylinder to the low pressure cylinder, and thus the clearance between the cylinders and through their valves is very small.

Condition: Slight crinkling. Wear to left hand edge where patent has been removed from the volume.

This was sold by a Library and has their stamp impression on some of the pages/drawings. Multiple Item Postage: Patents can be combined for postage costs, the cost is the same whether you purchase one or several, so check out our Ebay Shop patent listings as well. This patent specification has been disbound from a volume of 100 different patents. This is an original HMSO published item at the time, not a modern copy as are being sold elsewhere. The drawings are often ideal for framing. It is part of a collection of several volumes from the 1893-1900,1907 & 1920/50's that I have from which individual patents will be sold over the next few years.
