19th Century, French, Green Salt Glazed-slip coated two handled jar. Overall in VGC, some minor chip on it's foot and rim/handles. High fired redware, that rings when tapped, no fractures, no repairs to handles, no spalling or major losses of any kind. Appears to be an old touch up in photo #14 of the slip that has been scuffed/scratched off, as its not as durable as the hardened salt glaze. I'm not an expert of 19th cen., French pottery, though of my general knowledge of pottery and compairing with others posted on line, I believe this to be authentic.Right down the discolered slip from years of handling, at no extra charge. I'm acepting returns should you find out otherwise of it's pedigree, for up to 30 days should be sufficiant to have it evaulated, by an expert with written proof of the like.
