7 Apr 92 BFPS 2319  75th Anniversary of No 56 Squadron Special postmark on set of 4 Europa stamps. Cover depicts 56  Squadron Phantom, Badge and Motto  What if heaven falls. Flown in 56 Squadron Phantom FGR2, XT903 from RAF Wattisham, home of the Firebirds from June 1976 to July 1992.The sortie profile included Air to Air Refuelling from a Hercules C 130 tanker aboard which was the High Sheriff of Suffolk. Miss Mary MacRae.
