Contemporary Hand Woven Mixed Technique Turkish Folk Art Pillow / Cushion

Hand woven in Eastern Turkey using handspun wool and natural dyes.

A work of genuine contemporary folk art. This pillow is made from a combination
of kilim weave and knotted pile. It pictures a delightful country scene
of  people and animals in a stylized mountain landscape.
The rich colors come from the use of natural dyes.
Each pillow is hand woven in Eastern Turkey by adult women and therefore unique - no two are exactly alike.
The pillow measures 18 x 18 inches. About 4 inches in width depending on the pillow inside

The back of the pillow is plain cotton with a zipper enclosure. A plain white pillow is inside. 

It may be purchased with or without the pillow inside.
