The auction offers an Antique Sandwich Glass Ship "CADMUS" Cup Plate, LR 610B, Green Tint, Sandwich, MA., c. 1830 - 1855. This is a beautiful flint glass cup plate that I believe is usually called "Cadmus" or "Constitution" by collectors.  But it may not be either, because of this Barlow refers to it as the pressed "Ship" cup plate.  This cup plate has a very slight green tint to the glass which is color and not from the sun.  This is Lee-Rose #610B, and Barlow #1418. A similar pressed ship cup plate is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Blown Tableware, Cup Plates and Salts" By Barlow and Kaiser, plate #1418.

CONDITION:  The condition is very good with some minor rim roughness and it does exhibit the manufacturing flaws prevalent in early flint glass.  This includes; straw marks, sand and bubbles in the glass, and minor mold imperfections.
