Calligraphy brushes when cleaned would stand with the brush side up in the canister to protect and keep the brushes in good condition. It looks to be made of black bamboo treated with long life dye with the coloring evenly applied thoroughly through the piece. The carving is done with the grains on the fiber and overall done in excellent form. The birds in particular are lovely.

Height: 16.4cm and the shape is oval 13cm x 11.5cm. It is in beautiful condition.

The pot will be bubble wrapped and securely packed for shippment.
