16A 250VAC Red Illuminated Rocker Switch and Splash Proof Cover

A high quality illuminated double pole single throw (DPST) rocker switch with 100 Amp inrush capability and therefore suitable for motor loads and heavy duty applications. Rated at 16A resistive with 8A inductive rating - 16(8)A 250Vac - this switch is suitable for heavier duty applications such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners and industrial replacement parts. The body is moulded in Nylon (PA66) and the lens is Polycarbonate (PC) with 6.3mm Quick Connect spade terminals. The T125 (125 Degrees Ceclius) rating on the body also makes this very safe and suitable for use in enclosed spaces where heat can be generated such as in carpet cleaning equipment. The spash proof cover provided is designed to snap onto the switch before being inserted into the panel and makes this suitable for damp environments such as on wet and dry vacuum cleaners.

This switch is heavily approved by international approval authorities including ENEC and UL. The illumination is by an LED resulting in longer life that other cheaper alternative that may use incandescent bulbs.

This switch is suitable for panel cut outs measuring 22mm x 30mm for normal thickness panels of around 1mm. For thicker panels there will be slight differences. If in any doubt please contact us before placing your order.
