Its open weave construction reduces wind resistance, therefore lessening abrasion and increasing flag life. This flag material is ideal for industrial and institutional application because it resists wear to wind, dirt, and moisture. Designed specifically for the needs of the most discriminating customer, this flag will prove to be the most durable, longest lasting flag available. All Poly-Max™ flags are finished with a snow-white header and brass grommets. The state flag of Ohio is the only one in the United States that is not rectangular. The architect of the flag, John Eisemann, based the design off of the flags used by cavalry units during the Civil and Spanish-American Wars.
