FASHIONED OF A STIFFENED BASE THAT IS COVERED IN WHITE SILK WITH FLORAL EMBROIDERED NET LACE ATOP. THE BRIM IS TRIMMED IN RUCHED BLACK COTTON VELVET WITH THE LACE AND SCALLOPING IN RUFFLES ATOP.
A LARGE BOUQUET OF MAY FLOWERS TRIMS THE TOP WITH SCALLOPING ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE AND MATCHING EMBROIDERED NET LACE TIES FALL LONG.
THE INTERIOR IS LINED IN SILK DE CHINE.
CONDITION: FULLY STRONG AND WEARABLE. THERE IS A LARGE AMOUNT OF BREAKAGE TO THE INNER LINING, AS PICTURED. THE LACE TAILS HAVE DARKENED YELLOWED AGE COLOR WITH TWO CENTER SEAMS OF THE LACE ON THE TAILS OPENING, EASILY TACKED BACK.
