SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 23.5 x 15 cm, 9.25 x 5.75 inches (medium) plus margins.

ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER: Drawn and engraved by J. Bartholomew. John Bartholomew (25 December 1831 – 29 March 1893) was a Scottish cartographer. 

PROVENANCE: Published in "The Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales". This is a substantial topographical dictionary first published between 1870 and 1872, edited by the Reverend John Marius Wilson. It contains a detailed description of England and Wales.litical and physical features and naming the principal people of each place. The publishers were A. Fullarton and Co., of London & Edinburgh.

TYPE: Antique lithograph printed on paper.   

VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank.

CONDITION: Good. Suitable for framing. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. Virtually all antiquarian maps and prints are subject to some normal aging due to use and time which is not significant unless otherwise stated.
