Awesome photo (how did this get taken?).  Notice the masts on the ships in the harbor and the break separating ocean from harbor.  Likely this postcard exists elsewhere...but I haven't found it. 

My grandfather was living in Brazil in 1907-08.  Postcard was purchased then...and kept in a postcard album for last 109 years.  The postcard may have been manufactured (e.g. photo taken) several years prior to 1907.  Mast ships were more common in 1890s than 1907-08.

Minor and typical age discoloration.  Slight marks in each corner (front and back) from being held by postcard holders creating nearly imperceptible emboss affect in each of 4 corners.  There are a few more skuff marks on address side.
