This is an insert for the front spindle tool standard with all Birel and Compkart type 25mm spindles. The insert slides into the spindle tool and snaps onto the crossbar on the end. It is fully removable and has a hole in the center to accomodate efficient packing if the crossbar is modified to be removable from the main body. When installed, the insert tip slips inside the stub axle, holding the tool in place and greatly stabilizing it during use. The tool is now able to stay engaged with the splines on the spindle nut without being touched or pushed into the nut, and the nut cannot fall off once fully unthreaded. It's a great quality of life improvement for this type of spindle nut.

As should be obvious, this listing is for the insert only and not the metal tool. If the tool is required, I have a couple of those left for additional purchase.
