Vintage Chinese Mudmen Sancai Glazed Clay Figurine Two Men Seated Scholars Book

These seated figures appear to have a book in front of them 

Measures 8 cm high and 6 wide

Excellent condition just looks to be a tiny tip of a curl off from the back of the hair of the figure in yellow

Base Marked with the numbers 241 or 24I 

The interior has a thumb impression of the artist

Decorated in the Sancai style glaze

Unsure of the date but research suggests figures marked Made in China date from 1920s / 1930s onwards This figure is not marked Made in China just has the numbers and or letters impressed into the clay so could be older
