This is a medium weight cotton nemaki of the type used by guests in Japanese inns, hotels and hot spring resorts for all seasons. This is a fine quality item lined in 3-ply gauze in a traditional geometric pattern. It is in unworn condition in its original package with tags; however this one has minor age-related yellowing to one fold - priced accordingly.
Generally, hotel nemaki are considered one-size-fits-all and will fit most people within reason. It goes without saying that they will be shorter on some people than on others and the sleeves longer on some people than others but in Japan, that is normally of no concern.
It wraps and ties with the belt at the waist like a bathrobe. In Japan, hotel guests sleep in them but also wear them around the hotel and even in the streets of Onsen hot sping resorts.
