For Buy-It-Now or Best Offer is a 3 CD collection of The Smithereens including the first two brilliant albums Especially For You with "Blood and Roses" on it, which was how I got into the band originally. This was followed by Green Thoughts with the single "Only A Memory" which cracked the Top 100 at 92, though darker in some regards than the debut, it is certainly the bookend to the debut and I consider both albums to be related. This trio of CD's also includes the overlooked 1994 release "A Date With The Smithereens" which was their RCA Records debut and a return to Don Dixon at the helm who did the first two albums.
