Hi and welcome to my auction for this ULTRA RARE JAWS PROP obtained from the JAWS movie set in October of 1974 by the late artist Peter Simon of Marthas Vineyard.

I found this prop on eBay decades ago and was assured it was genuine. I reached out to Peter's widow for confirmation but her recollection was unclear. If the provenance could be further established, this will be an extremely valuable piece of cinematic history. I believe I've priced it accordingly, and there is NO reserve.

For 36 years, my brother and I had a small restaurant in Staten Island with a large display of this and other authentic JAWS memorabilia.

We closed our doors for good on June 1st and have decided to liquidate the collection.

Also included in the display, is a nice little bonus. It's a Robert Shaw autograph I obtained from an experienced eBay autograph collector named Jack Smith. There is no COA for the signature but the seller described as authentic. I included his note to me in the display.
