This is a pair of gold framed Woven silk jacquard tapestries depicting aristocratic French ladies and gentlemen dancing, and the other is of a more country peasant dancing scene. Stevengraph is a woven silk picture manufactured on the jacquard looms of the Neyret Brothers weaving house, founded in 1823 in Sainte Etienne, France. After a painting by A. Perez and signed A. Perez. These became hard to find after World War 2. This is a very rare complementary pair in matching frames!
